Futurity Seminar

Top Virginia horsemen Bill Graves and Susie Hart will be giving a seminar on conformation and show presentation after the Futurity. Bill is Vice President of Recruiting and Selections for Fasig-Tipton in Lexington, Kentucky. A native Virginian, Bill has been responsible for the company’s yearling selections since 1992, and has earned the reputation as one of the best judges of young race prospects in the world.

Susie and her veterinarian husband E.C. “Pug” Hart owned and operated a large Thoroughbred training and breeding center in Ocala, Florida where they stood stallions, bred and foaled mares and always had 75-85 horses in training. In addition to owning and racing Champion Victory Gallop, the Harts developed and managed the racing career of Eclipse champion Maria’s Mon and more than 100 other stakes winners. Susie, who now resides in Virginia with her husband, continues to be active at the sales and the races advising clients as well as buying and selling horses she and her husband raise or pinhook.
