Extravagant Kid Close Fourth In BC Turf Sprint

David Ross’s Extravagant Kid finished a very close fourth in a tight finish of the Breeders’ Cup Turf Sprint Stakes GrI on Novermber 7, 2020 at Keeneland. Ross is a Virginia businessman, President of the Virginia HBPA, and Colonial Downs’ all-time leading owner.

To date, Ross’s sprinter has 14 wins from 46 career starts and lifetime earnings of $952,210. The Florida-bred has won six stakes including the Sunshine Millions Sprint this past January and most recently, finished second in a pair of Grade 2 stakes — the Woodford at Keeneland and the Twin Spires Turf Sprint at Churchill. The fourth place finish in the Grade I BC Turf Sprint added $50,000 to his payroll.
