VEA Hosts Horesemen’s Webinar April 8, 6pm

Please join us on a Zoom conference Wednesday evening, April 8th at 6:00 P.M. where VTA and VHBPA member Larry Johnson will summarize the Federal relief package, answer specific questions on eligibility, and inform you on how to navigate the process. Larry’s knowledge will be incredibly helpful whether you breed, race or train horses. Whether your farm is big or small, it is in your best interest to get up to speed on these relief programs.

Larry Johnson is the Chairman/CEO of Veris Consulting, LLC which specializes in forensic accounting services and is headquartered in Reston, VA. Larry is very involved in the thoroughbred breeding and racing industries. Currently a member of the Maryland Thoroughbred Horsemen’s Association Board and past VTA Board member, Larry’s horse operations are run out of his farm in Bluemont, VA.

Johnson founded Veris Consulting, LLC in 2000. He co-founded Johnson Lambert & Co., a predecessor to Veris, in 1986 and served as that firm’s managing partner through 2005.

Johnson has participated in numerous professional standard-setting bodies, including the Accounting Standards Executive Committee of the AICPA, which was the highest authority in the AICPA over industry-specific accounting and reporting matters.
