Sadler’s Joy owned by Woodslane Farm (Rene and Lauren Woolcott) in The Plains, VA recently won Red Smith Stakes Gr.3 at Aqueduct and now has earnings of $2,471,360 from 27 career starts.

Sadler’s Joy took control at the top of the lane and extended clear to score over Red Knight and Dot Matrix.

Bob Ehalt writing for Bloodhore.com quoted owner/breeder Lauren Woocott saying “He’s such a treasure, we bred him, own him, and we still have the mare. She throws such beautiful horses.”

Trainer Albertrani is looking to point him to the $6 million Longines Dubai Sheema Classic (G1) March 28 at about 1 1/2 miles before calling it a career.  “It was nice to close the year with a win,” Albertrani said. “Hopefully we can get him to Dubai and maybe get a race in him before that in Florida.”
