The entry box at Colonial Downs remains busy as the track continues to fill races at a brisk pace. Last weekend averaging 8.2 and 9 starters per race.

On track handle for the two days of racing was $46,394 for Friday and $123,987 for Saturday. Total handle was $1,088,625 on Friday and $976,925 on Saturday.

As previously noted, all the winner except one were KY-breds with the lone exception being the MD-bred that won the fourth. On Saturday, a homebred won the first and there were one FL-bred, a PA-bred and a MD-bred mixed it with the six KY-bred winners. That is to be expected considering the large statistical advantage in number they enjoy.
