Riverdee Stables’ morning line favorite Hear the Word (Blair Wyatt) made good on that wager winning the $15,000 Old Dominion Turf Championship by 3 ¼ lengths over the aptly name Fall Colors yesterday at Great Meadow.

Bred by Althea D. Richards, the four-year-old son of Corinthian, out of Finery by Lear Fan, rallied steadily down the backside, took the lead in the stretch and won easily while covering the 10 furlongs in 2:22.
