James H. Falk, Sr.’s Prima Facie won the $4,000 James P. Mills Memorial for Virginia-bred/sired horses on Sunday, October 6 at the Middleburg Fall Races at Glenwood Park. Jeff Murphy rode the winner for trainer Simon Hobson.
Prima Facie is a homebred by Fantasticat, out of Parisiana by Mutakddim. He took control of the race at the start and was never seriously challenged. The winning margin was 2 ¼ lengths.
