WAGERING ON U.S. RACES DECLINES IN SEPTEMBER

11811106Wagering from worldwide commingled sources on U.S. races declined in September by -2.09% when overall wagering declined from $794,252,045 in September of 2012 to $777,628,625 in September of 2013.

Year to date, worldwide wagering on U.S. races has declined slightly by -.11% falling from $8,473,820,471 through September of 2012 to $8,464,689,384 during the same period of this year.

Purses continue to increase for 2013 going from $857,863,655 from $8,473,820,471 during the same period last year.
