For Sunday’s final Book 2 session, 290 yearlings soldfor $28,229,000. The average was up 26.5% to $97,341 and the median rose 33.3% to $80,000. During last year’s sixth session, 281 horses grossed $21,625,000. The average was $76,957 and the median was $60,000.

In 2012, 21 horses sold for over $250,000 and 83 over $150,000. In 3013, 42 sold for over $250,000 and 162 over $150,000.
