Virginia-bred Long On Value made it three straight capturing the $50,000 Strike Your Colors Stakes at Delaware Park on July 29.  The colt by Value Plus, out of Long Message by Orientate, was ridden by Daniel Centeno and is trained by Randy Allen and bred by Frances Hessee.  He was bred by Snow Lantern Thoroughbreds.

In his prior start, Long On Value made his stakes debut winning the $60,000 Jamestown Stakes for Virginia-breds at Colonial Downs.  In that one, the bay colt, with Sheldon Russell in the irons, won by 2 ½ lengths as second favorite.

Long On Value broke his maiden at Delaware Park at first asking in June by 1 ¾ lengths over Tuscan Getaway who was another 9 ½ lengths ahead of the rest of the field.  That day he covered 4.5 furlings in 52.34 off of fractions of 22.45 and 46.12.

He is now three for three with total earnings of $81,600.
